An exhibition opening about data
In 2024, during an after-work event organised with two luxury brands, we created an extraordinary event: the Data Gallery! This veritable data vernissage saw us take data visualisation to the next level, exploring design and aesthetics as levers of impact. We made art-themed datasets (museums, artists, pictorial trends) available to the consultants, inviting them to push the boundaries of data visualisation. Ten works were selected from their creations and given pride of place at the event. Each guest received an exhibition booklet on the day, revealing the technological and artistic choices behind each visualisation. Finally, the most captivating work was chosen by a collective vote, celebrating the perfect alliance between data and visual creation!
The event showcased the creativity of our consultants, reinventing the way we look at data and exploring an approach where art and technology become one. It’s a new way of showcasing our professions… and inspiring those who, like us, want to sublimate data!
Why would you organise a Data Gallery?
Data is omnipresent today, and the ability to present it effectively and make it understandable is a strategic asset. However, all too often, visualisations are cold and complex, or are not used to their full potential, which limits their impact and fails to engage the business.
Organising a Data Gallery means offering an immersive, inspiring experience that goes beyond mere analytical restitution. It’s about transforming data into a visual work of art, capable of captivating, engaging and powerfully telling a story.
Stimulate creativity and rethink data:
Data visualisation should evoke emotion, simplify complexity and inspire action. By encouraging your teams to explore new aesthetic and UX approaches, a Data Gallery enables you to :
- Raise awareness of how important design and storytelling are in conveying insights.
- Break down the barriers between the skills of data, design and communication.
- Unite your teams around a creative challenge that encourages innovation.
An engaging event that reinforces community dynamics:
This type of collaborative event is a powerful tool for encouraging people to engage with data, as it stimulates exchange, creativity and commitment. By bringing together consultants, customers and enthusiasts, the Data Gallery becomes an exploratory space, where each piece of work provides an opportunity to discuss the technological, aesthetic and narrative choices that shape impactful visualisations. It also makes data more accessible and inspiring, thereby reinforcing the data culture within your organisation. Analysts, managers, and decision-makers become more aware of the importance of design and storytelling in exploiting data and making decisions. Finally, collective voting transforms spectators into participants, creating an interactive dynamic that brings teams together and breaks down silos of expertise. By blending data, design and business teams, the Data Gallery promotes a more vibrant and collaborative approach to data.
How about offering your teams a new way of experiencing data? Organise your own Data Gallery and let creativity redefine your insights!
